In episode 34 of the Yo Quiero Dinero Podcast, we talk about how Luc and Daisy became real estate investors through a process known as real estate syndication. Real estate syndication (or property syndication) is a partnership between several investors. They combine their skills, resources, and capital to purchase and manage a property they otherwise couldn’t afford.

Luc D’Abreau & Daisy Serrano are a Multi-cultural Millennial couple, Multifamily Real Estate Investors, and Creators & Hosts of the Make It Rain Podcast, a podcast that focuses on Multifamily Real Estate Investing for Millennials.

Luc’s educational and professional experience is in the Architecture, Engineering, & Construction industry. His varied and in-depth experiences range from project management, to business development, to strategic initiatives. His inherent systems thinking strengths, coupled with forming customer relationships and business strategy experience enables him to identify opportunities and lay out tactics to leverage solutions.

He has been involved with projects valued at over $750MM over the last 8 years. He is a limited partner in 445 units across two assets in Texas (totalling $36.8MM), is part of the National Black MBA Association and African American Real Estate Professionals. His goal in real estate is to create generational wealth, leave a legacy, and provide a better life for his family.

Daisy has over 10 years of experience in international relations, education management, and counseling. She has worked with clients in 25+ countries and has thrived supporting large organizational and governmental structures. She is a limited partner in 253 units in Texas (totalling $20.7MM) and is a leader with the Women’s Real Estate Network (WREN), as well as with Prospanica: The Association of Hispanic Professionals.

Her goal is to help more people (especially millennials!) have opportunities to invest in real estate multifamily, retire her parents in the next 5 years, uplift and empower her community through mentorship/access, and be a positive role model for her family.
