Haley Brown-Woods is the founder of Price of Avocado Toast®, a financial coaching business and podcast that she runs alongside her husband, Justin.
While the podcast was born in 2020, Haley’s work as a financial coach began in 2021 when deciding what her next career move should be. As a former elementary school teacher, she was unsure if returning to the classroom was the best decision with two kids 2 and under. However, she knew she loved teaching and wanted to continue to help others.
Through her own work with her family on the personal finance journey, she realized she could impact others in a meaningful way as a financial coach. She has since built a business that has served over 100 families and supported them on the journey to over $3.2 million of non-mortgage debt paid off.
Haley’s primary focus is on value-based spending intertwined with the journey toward becoming debt free. She does this by helping families discover the balance between intentionality and organization to live a life they enjoy while still tackling all of their financial goals.
